CLARION, Pa. - The Clarion University men's swimming and diving team was able to secure a victory against Indiana University of Pennsylvania on senior day Saturday afternoon by a final score of 173-121. The team will return to action starting January 4th when the Blue and Gold head down to Fort Lauderdale for their annual training trip.

Collin Vest were all honored pre-meet for their contributions to CU Swimming and Diving the last four seasons.
The 200 medley relay team of
Ben Spencer,
Robert Hacku,
Ian Lindsey, and Josh Thurston got things started off on the right foot Saturday at Tippin for the Eagles, taking first in the first event of the day with a final time of 1:36.09. Oliver Patrick and
Taylor Wesselhoft would keep the momentum rolling shortly afterwards, taking first and second in the 1000 freestyle, respectively.

Spencer would add three first place finishes as well, taking over in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke as well as the 200 individual medley.
On the diving side, the Golden Eagles swept both the one and three-meter dives, with
Cary Johns, Mike Allison, and
Collin Vest combing to win all six spots for the two events.
