YORK, Pa. –
Patrick Olivier and
Nathan Porter tacked on points in the second day of competition at the PSAC Swimming Championships on Friday, and the Clarion men's swimming team finished Friday's action in seventh place at the event. Competition will continue on Saturday and conclude on Sunday.

Porter took 11th in the 200 Free on Friday, finishing the race in a time of 1:43.95 in just narrowly beating IUP's Sterling Tate. The performance garnered six points for the Golden Eagles on Saturday.Â

Olivier found success in one of the longer events of the day, scoring points in the 400 IM race. Porter's fellow freshman took 15th place with a time of 4:17.58 to net two points on the afternoon.

The biggest gains for Clarion came in the relays on Friday. The 200 Free Relay team of
Robert Hacku, Joseph Dunleavy,
Matthew Bair and
Luke Simpson took seventh in the event, finishing in a time of 1:26.58 for 24 points. The 400 Medley Relay team of
Travis Myers,
Ian Lindsey,
Chris Fenoglietto and
Nathan Porter also finished in seventh, which again contributed 24 points to the team total.
