EDINBORO, Pa., - The Clarion University men's swimming and diving team earned a win in the road Friday evening, defeating Edinboro by a final score of 106.5-97.5. The victory moves the Golden Eagles to 5-2 on the season in dual meet events. The Blue and Gold return to action on February 4th when they host the Clarion Invitational.

Nathan Porter came out of the gate flying, touching out at a PSAC-qualifying 10:03.91 to take first place in the 1000 yard freestyle. Porter was followed closley by Patrick Oliver, who touched out second just behind with a time of 10:27.71.
Josh Thurston also nabbed a PSAC-qualifyer in the 100 yard freestyle, finishing with a final mark of 48.62.
Ben Spencer followed suit two races later by out-touching everyone in the 100-yard backstroke, and Oliver sealed the win for the Blue and Gold with a triumphant effort in the 500 yard freestyle in the meet's waining stages.
