BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Senior Summer Dacheux won one individual event and helped the 200 Free Relay team to another victory as the Golden Eagle women's swimming team fell 133-70 at Bloomsburg.  Clarion (2-2) will next have the full team in action at the Zippy Invitational hosted by Akron in December.
 
Dacheux had the lone individual victory for Clarion, pacing the field in the 100 Backstroke to collect nine points in the event.  She held off Bloomsburg's Kiera Wadsworth by more than a full second, finishing in 59.67 to top her opponent's time of 1:00.79. 
 
The senior was also part of a successful effort in the 200 Free Relay, swimming the first leg of the event as Clarion put together a winning time of 1:40.48.  Joining her was Becca Yonek, Kelsey Burke and Alexis Lopez, with Burke authoring the fastest relay leg of any team with a 50-yard spring of 24.88.  The "B" team of Danielle Jellison, Nicole Finley, Kelly Harvey and Morgan Manglaviti took second in the event to rack up more team points for the Golden Eagles.
 
Other Golden Eagles to record strong performances included Letizia Collini, who recorded a PSAC-qualifying time of 25.46 in the 50 Free and a 55.22 in the 100 Free, and Mary Clare Smith, who did the same in the 1000 Free.  Morgan Manglaviti qualified in the 200 Free with a time of 2:01.19, and Raena Valli did so in the 100 Fly with a 1:01.68.
