MILLERSVILLE, Pa - Millersville's Marcus Adkison dropped a game-high 44 points as the Marauders rolled to a home victory over the Clarion Golden Eagles on Saturday afternoon, 102-71.
Clarion drops to 2-6, 0-3 PSAC on the season while Millersville improves to 3-5 and 1-2 in the PSAC.
The hot shooting Maruaders were in control from the start, building a 48-26 halftime lead behind Adkison's 24, first half points.
Clarion out-rebounded Millersville 41-38 on the afternoon, while shooting 50% from the floor in the second half, however they just could not slow the Marauder attack. Millersville shot a staggering 63% (12 of 19) from three point range on the day, including 8 of 13 in the second half.
The Golden Eagles were led by steady senior guard
Cameron Grumley, who had a team high 19 points and 8 rebounds in 34 minutes of work.
Kyheim Hall and
Mason Mraz each added 12 points while forward
Chris Pipkin pulled down 7 boards for Clarion.
Clarion will be back in action tomorrow with a 3pm tilt against PSAC foe Shippensburg University.
