EDINBORO, Pa. – The Clarion men's swimming team won its final dual meet of the season, downing the Edinboro Fighting Scots by a score of 117-86 on Friday.  The Golden Eagles (3-3, 3-2 PSAC) will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at the Western PA Invite hosted by Pittsburgh.
 
Patrick Olivier picked up the first win of the night for the Golden Eagles, pacing the field in the 1000 Free with a time of 10:26.72.  Joseph Folz and Nathan Porter followed that up with a 1-2 finish in the 200 Free, with Folz taking the win at 1:44.98 and Porter following close behind with a 1:46.34.  Josh Thruston kept the run going with a win in the 50 Free, winning the sprint with a time of 22.18.
 
Ben Spencer extended the string of consecutive individual victories with a win in the 200 IM, leading the field with a time of 1:59.18.  Folz added a win in the 100 Free with a time of 47.99, and Spencer posted his second win of the night with a 1:57.14 in the 200 Back.  Porter added his first win of the night with a 4:54.77 in the 500 Free, and Thruston added his second win of the night with a 2:15.93 in the 200 Breaststroke.
