CLARION, Pa. – After leading by as many as three points midway through the second half, the Clarion University men's basketball team ultimately fell 77-68 at home to Seton Hill, Saturday afternoon.
With just 6:48 remaining in the game, the Griffins used an 11-0 run over the next five minutes to build a double-digit lead and put the game away.
Seton Hill improves to 7-13, 4-11 PSAC on the season while the Golden Eagles drop to 3-18 overall and 0-15 in league play.
The Golden Eagles struggled from the floor in the first half, shooting just 30% and missed all 10 three-point tries. The second half proved to be much better, as they knocked down 16 of 37 attempts (43%) while also shooting 55% from three-point range.
It was certainly a tale of two halves for Clarion, as they did not commit a shooting foul on defense in the first half, but were flagged for 10 fouls, compared to just three for Seton Hill in the second half.

Mason Mraz each finished with a team-high 17 points, while freshman
Khari Williams played a solid 30 minutes with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
RJ Laugand also contributed 10 points and dished out a career-high 8 assists on the afternoon.
For Seton Hill, Trevor Blondin led the Griffins with 24 points but the story of the day was center Spencer Casson, who finished with a triple-double as he netted 12 points to go along with 10 rebounds and an impressive 10 blocks.
The Golden Eagles will play their final game of a three-game home stand this Wednesday (Jan 31) when they host Mercyhurst University at 7:30pm in Tippin Gymnasium.
