ERIE, Pa. – The Clarion men's swimming and diving team came up short falling 161-80 in a dual meet at Gannon University Friday night. The full team will be back in action when they head to Shippensburg to take on the Raiders November 2.

Josh Thruston hit the PSAC qualifying mark with his first place finish 100 Breaststroke, he finished with a  final time of 1:00.14.

Joseph Folz finished second in the !00 Free less than two tenths of a second behind the leader with a final time of 47.11.

Cary Johns won both diving events with scores of 197.85 in the 1M dive and a final tally of 291.65 in the 3M dive.
Michael Allison place second in both diving events with scores of 157.65 (1M) and a 228.60 (3M). Freshman
Jonathan Hansotte rounded out the top three in both diving events posting a 141.20 in the 1M dive and a 173.45 in the 3M dive.

The diving team will be back in action when the head to Westminster for a meet against the Titans on October 26 and 27.
