From that point on it was all Clarion as Saint Anselm was held to just one more run the entire game. In the bottom of the sixth inning the Golden Eagles took the lead for good, courtesy of a Barth single through the left side that scored
Nick Fugh. In the next at bat Shaffer singled scoring Lavin to make the score 4-3.
Dan Janoson added one more run when he reached on an infield single that scored Barth. Palyas would put the game out of reach for good in that same inning when he roped a double down the left field line that plated Janoson and Shaffer, making the score 7-3.
