NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Clarion women's tennis team opened play on Saturday, falling by a 9-0 score to Westminster. The Golden Eagles will be back in action when they head to the PSAC Championships in Bloomsburg starting on October 5
th.

The day started with three doubles wins for the Titans, with

Katie Benson falling in the No. 1 doubles match to open the session.Â
Kali Aughenbaugh and
Hailey Germanoski battled but could not overcome Westminster pairing in falling 8-7 in the No. 2 match.

Margo Mason opened singles action with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Benson in the No. 1 match, and Strouse dropped the No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-0 as the Titans clinched the overall team win. The final singles match to come off the court featured
Sarah Kirmeyer and McKenna Robinson in the No. 5 match, with Robinson taking a 6-0, 6-2 decision.
