BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle men's swimming & diving team went on the road to take on a conference rival on Friday night, falling by a 118.5 – 67.5 score to Bloomsburg in a dual meet.

After the Huskies won the 200 Medley Relay to start the night, David Bocci got the Golden Eagles' first victory of the evening, winning the 500 Free with a time of 4:43.85. Ty Rabenstein took fifth in the event with time of 4:58.29, and both marks were good enough to qualify for the PSAC Championships later this season. Austin Prokopec nearly won the top spot in the 50 Free, but he ultimately tied Dan Mueser for second in the event with a time of 22.01.

The Golden Eagles would not see another winner on the night until the 200 IM, when Connor Cary paced the field with a time of 1:56.03. Not far behind him was Bocci, who finished in 1:58.75, allowing Clarion to rack up some points in the event. They followed that up with a win in the Mixed 200 Medley Relay, with Cary and Bocci teaming up with Mandy Dial and Hannah Greenway of the women's team to post a time of 1:41.48 and earn 11 team points.

Prokopec added another second-place finish on the night, touching the wall in the 200 Free in 1:49.24 to just narrowly get under the PSAC qualifying mark for the event. Cary and Dominic Cortopassi took second and third in the 100 Fly with times of 51.89 and 52.28 respectively, while Mason Irwin took fifth with a time of 52.66. Mason Peck was seventh with a time of 53.40, and all four hit PSAC qualifying marks in the process.

Rounding out the night was the 200 Free Relay, with the quartet of Bocci, Cortopassi, Nolan Songer and Ryan Ehlers taking second place with a time of 1:29.61.

In addition, there were other PSAC qualifying marks over the course of the night. Irwin, Peck and Aidan Mohren all hit PSAC qualifying times in the 100 Back. Paul Flowers finished the 100 Breastroke in 1:01.69, good enough for the conference mark, while Songer hit it in the 50 Free. Cortopassi placed third in the 100 Free with a time of 48.62 for a PSAC qualifying mark.
