LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- Alexis Moyer became the first player in the history of the Golden Eagle soccer program to earn four all-conference honors in her career, as the senior defender was named a Second Team All-PSAC West selection in 2022.
Â
Moyer capped off a collegiate career in which she started and played in all 73 games, and in turn earned all-conference honors in all four years. She was a Third Team selection as a freshman in 2018, a two-time Second Team selection (2019, 2022) and a First Team honoree in 2021.
Â
The senior defender set program record for games started (73) and minutes played (6299), breaking marks previously held by Alissa Spencer. A stalwart defender for four years, Moyer showed some offensive spark at times as well, finishing her career with one goal and four assists. She tied her career high with two points – both assists – in 2022, including helpers on the game-winning goals against California (Pa.) on Oct. 12 and Edinboro on Oct. 26.
Â
With her fourth career All-PSAC honor, Moyer broke a tie with Rebecca Waterhouse for most career all-conference selections in program history. Waterhouse was a three-time All-PSAC selection from 2006-08.
