AKRON, Ohio --- The Golden Eagle women's swimming & diving team wrapped up their final day at the Zippy Invite on Sunday, with one competitor logging a top-10 finish to highlight the last day in Akron.

Clarion finished in seventh place in the field, competing against five Division I teams and one NAIA squad. The Golden Eagles scored 446 team points.

Joslyn Jurski started the day off with a strong finish in the 1650 Free, with the freshman hitting a PSAC qualifying mark in the marathon event. Jurski touched the wall in 17:26.49 to take ninth place in the field of 22 athletes.
Maddy Murphy also compete, taking 22
nd and contributing team points with her time of 18:43.60.

The Golden Eagles followed that up with two scorers in the 200 Backstroke, with
Stella Chierico and
Maria Wold placing 22
nd and 23
rd respectively. Chierico finished in a time of 2:09.52, while Wold wrapped up the race in 2:09.58. In the next race, the 100 Free, no Golden Eagles qualified for the finals, but
Hannah Greenway came within fractions of a second of an NCAA "B" cut. The sophomore touched the wall in a time of 52.72.

In the 400 Free Relay, the foursome of Greenway,
Haley Miller,
Jordan Kutchak and
Madelynn McTeer took 16
th in the field with a time of 3:32.53, coming up just a few seconds short of an NCAA "B" cut. The grouping of
Corina Paszek, Jurski, Murphy and
Ava Rosely took 20
th with a time of 3:37.61.
