GREENSBORO, N.C. –
Alexa Gonczi earned the first postseason honor of her collegiate career on Thursday afternoon, placing 13
th in the Women's 3M Dive at the 2022 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. As Zach Schering did in the Men's 1M Dive the day before, Gonczi earned Honorable Mention All-America honors.
The freshman did well in the first postseason competition of her career, taking 13
th in the field of 21. She posted a score of 388.40.
Also competing for Clarion on Thursday was
Anna Vogt, who just narrowly missed out on Honorable Mention honors herself. Vogt scored a 369.55 to take 18
th in the event.
Both Gonczi and Vogt will compete in the Women's 1M Dive, scheduled for Saturday. Prelims will take place in the afternoon.
