WASHINGTON, Pa. – Heading to the Southpointe Golf Club, the Clarion men's golf team returned to action aon Monday afternoon, finishing tied for third place with Penn State Altoona at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational hosted by Washington and Jefferson. Clarion shot a team score of 341 on Monday, behind Westminster College and Washington and Jefferson.
Willie Hoover was the best finisher for Clarion, finishing third in the field of 61 golfers with a score of 80 on Monday.
Nick Giambrone and
Will Meyer were just behind him, with scores of 84 and 88 respectfully.
Just a few strokes behind them and rounding out the scoring for Clarion was
Ryan Robinson, who scored an 89 and
Creighton Carter who carded a round of 93.
The Blue and Gold will return to action on April 15th when they head to the Mercyhurst Spring Invitational.
