KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced last week the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year. The Clarion women's soccer program was among the 488 women's teams honored this past year.

In order to qualify for a United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, a team must post at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA for the academic year.

This past year, the Golden Eagle soccer team finished with a cumulative 3.57 GPA. That number was buoyed by eight individuals –
Kylee Cross,
Annalise Eiswerth,
Taylor Hughes,
Macy McCarthy,
Grace Mullen,
Kayla Papale,
Tori Pembleton and
Isabelle Snyder – who posted perfect 4.0 GPAs for the entire academic year.
