NORTH EAST, Pa. – The Golden Eagle men's golf team finished up their two-round competition at the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational, finishing 13
th with a two-day team score of 650 (322-328). Clarion was six strokes behind their previous round pace on Saturday.
The best round of the day belonged to
Will Meyer, who carded a nearly identical score to what he had done in the opening round of action. Meyer was just one stroke behind his Friday pace with a score of 78 on Saturday, tying him for 31
st in the field with a two-day mark of 155. The second-best round of the day was delivered by
Hunter Woodward, who lopped off six strokes from yesterday's score to move up eight places on the leaderboard. Woodward carded an 81 for a two-day score of 168.
Ryan Robinson finished second on the team for the weekend with a two-day score of 164 (79-85), followed by Woodward.
Hayden Siegel and
Joey Vitali rounded out Clarion's scoring for the weekend with identical weekend scores of 169, though Siegel improved by one stroke on the previous day's score.
