NORTH EAST, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle men's golf team finished off the first half of their four-day trip to the Erie metropolitan area on Saturday, placing 15
th overall at the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational. Clarion shot 320 as a team in the opening round on Friday and followed that up with a 329 on Saturday, giving them a two-round score of 649 at Lake View Country Club.

Brennan Karalfa was the low man for the Golden Eagles on both days of the tournament, shooting a 79 on Friday and an 80 on Saturday for a two-round score of 159. Karalfa mostly avoided big numbers over the course of two rounds, recording just two double-bogeys through 36 holes. That tied him for 50
th in the field.

Hayden Siegel (T-58th) was second on the team, shooting an 80 on Friday and an 81 on Saturday. Siegel finished his Saturday round with three birdies, coming in under on par-4s on the second, 11
th and 15
th holes. He birdied the 17
th hole on Friday to give him a team-best four birdies over the course of the weekend.

Hunter Woodward (63
rd) showed consistency over both days, shooting rounds of 81 on Friday and Saturday. His first round included three birdies, including on back-to-back holes to close out the front nine.
Ryan Robinson (T-74
th) and
Chase Smith (T-74
th) both shot 168 over the course of the two rounds, with Robinson carding an 81 on Friday and an 87 on Saturday. Smith, meanwhile, posted an 80 on Friday and an 88 on Saturday.

Teagan Gray (T-77
th), rounded out things for the Golden Eagles squad over the weekend. He shot an 83-87 for a two-day total of 170.
