BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle tennis team saw their 2023 fall schedule conclude on Sunday, as Clarion wrapped action at the PSAC Individual Championships hosted by Bloomsburg.
 
Senior Alexis Strouse competed in the final matches of her collegiate career on Sunday, battling to the very end but ultimately facing elimination in both brackets. She and Davan Lion teamed up to face Shepherd's Ximena Bolanos Tellez and Marketa Baladova in the doubles bracket, with the latter winning by an 8-3 score to advance.
 
Strouse drew Bolanos Tellez in the singles bracket as well and put forth a defiant effort, coming back from a first set loss to force a third set tiebreaker. The two individuals each won a set by a 6-3 score, but Bolanos Tellez held on for a tight 10-7 win in the third set tiebreaker to secure the win.
 
Meanwhile, Lion faced off with IUP's Ming Deewajee in the singles bracket. Ming topped Lion in straight sets, winning by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
