CLARION, Pa. --- The NCAA released its first batch of Division II volleyball regional rankings on Wednesday, with Clarion represented among the 10 teams in the initial poll on November 1.
Â
The first regional poll release of the year does not rank the team, but rather lists them alphabetically. Subsequent poll releases will include the actual team rankings. The Golden Eagles are one of four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams in the initial ranking, along with IUP, Pitt-Johnstown and Gannon.
Â
The Golden Eagles enter action this weekend with a 19-5 overall record, including a 17-4 mark in regional play. They are 5-4 against other teams listed in the initial Atlantic Region rankings, including wins over Mountain East Conference (MEC) opponents West Liberty and Fairmont State, as well as one win apiece against each of the other PSAC schools.
