LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle cross country team wrapped up their 2023 season on Saturday afternoon, placing 16
th at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championships.

Mackenzie Carver wrapped her exceptional senior cross country season with another top-10 finish, this time taking ninth in the loaded field at Lock Haven. Carver finished the race with a time of 21:26.3, edging out Fairmont State's Carlina Jacquez by three seconds. It represented the best individual finish for a Golden Eagle at the regional championship meet since Erin Richard took fourth place in 2007.

Coming in just behind Carver was freshman Cheynne Mehl, who placed 55
th in the field with a time of 22:58.
Allison Farson was third on the team and 87
th overall, finishing in a time of 23:32.5.
Gabby Kutchma was fourth on the team and 112
th overall with a time of 24.03.2, and
Paige Brewer rounded out the Golden Eagles' scoring by taking fifth on the team, with a time fo 24:20.4.

Caleigh Aigler and
Emmy Davis rounded out the top-seven for the Golden Eagles, finishing in times of 25:28.8 and 25:34.0 respectively.
