AKRON, Ohio --- The Golden Eagle women's swimming & diving team concluded the third day of action at the Zippy Invite on Saturday evening, setting themselves up for a strong finish on Sunday. The invitational will conclude tomorrow.

In the Women's 1-Meter dive, six Golden Eagles finished in the top-15, with
Luna Castellanos leading the way with a ninth-place finish and a score of 224.40. That put her first among all non-Division I competitors at the meet. She was followed closely by
Alexa Gonczi, who took 10
th with a mark of 221.95, and
Colleen Hudson was just behind them in 11
th place with a 215.70.
Katie Madigan,
Bria Lewis and
Morgan Lukaesko rounded out the field.

The best individual swimming finish of the night came courtesy of
Joslyn Jurski, who took 15
th place in the 200 Free. The sophomore came up just shy of hitting an NCAA B cut in the event, touching the wall in a time of 1:54.43.
Amanda Fetsko turned in a top-20 performance in the event as well, coming in just .02 seconds short of her prelim time with a mark of 1:54.37.

Meanwhile, the Golden Eagles did enjoy a strong showing in the 200 Free Relay, taking 13
th with a time of 1:35.66. The foursome of
Madelynn McTeer,
Haley Miller,
Amanda Fetsko and
Hannah Greenway edged out Oakland's "B" quartet. Individually, Greenway earned a spot in the C Final in the 100 Fly, placing 18
th in the field of 47 competitors with a time of 56.39. T

The Golden Eagles had a pair of finalists in the 400 IM, with
Sarah Grimenstein and
Corina Paszek both earning their way into the field on Saturay night. Grimenstein took 20
th in the event with a time of 4:40.47 while Paszek was 24
th, at 4:46.47.
Ava Rosely reached the finals in the 100 Breaststroke, scoring with a 22
nd-place showing and a time of 1:06.69.

In the 100 Back, the duo of
Zoey Beck and
Maddy Murphy were among the scorers, taking 21
st and 24
th respectively. Beck improved on her morning prelim time with a mark of 59.19, while Murphy turned in a 1:00.22 time. Â
