ERIE, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle women's golf team followed up their solid round on Friday with an even better one on Saturday, finishing in seventh place at the Gannon Spring Invitational. Clarion shot a team score of 369 on Saturday, marking a 13-stroke improvement from their previous day to post a two-day total of 751.

Sylvia Stibley stood out among her teammates on Saturday, carding a round of 83 to finish with a two-day score of 177. Stibley shot just three-over on the front nine for a score of 39, and finished with an 83 for the day.
Samantha Huth matched her score from a day ago, finishing second on the team for two rounds with a round of 90 on Saturday.

Hailey Liptak also matched her day one score with an identical score on Saturday, shooting a 95 to finish with a two-day score of 190.
Lauren McGrady rounded out Clarion's scoring with a 101 on Saturday, carving off three strokes from Friday to shoot a 204 for the weekend.
Emily DeMartino matched her, shooting a 101 for the day but coming in just one stroke behind her.

McLain Alt competed as an individual and shot the fourth-best round for any Golden Eagle in the event, posting a 99 to represent a five-stroke improvement from Friday.
