NORTH EAST, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle women's golf team wrapped up a three-day weekend worth of competitions, with Clarion finishing fifth at the Mercyhurst Spring Invitational on Sunday. The one-round tournament at Lake View Country Club saw the Golden Eagles shoot a team score of 381.

Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was
Sylvia Stibley, who tied for 13
th overall in the field with a score of 87. The next two Clarion competitors finished within a stroke of one another, with
McLain Alt tying for 22
nd in the field with a score of 94.
Samantha Huth was just one stroke behind her, carding a round of 95.

Rounding out the scoring for Clarion was
Emily DeMartino, who finished with a score of 99 to tie for 25
th in the field.
Hailee Liptak made up the group of five Golden Eagles to shoot 100 or better on the day, coming in at exactly that number.
