Men's Golf Finishes 15th at Spadafora Invitational

INDIANA, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle men's golf team wrapped up their 2022-23 regular season on Tuesday afternoon, fighting through another day of inclement weather at the Cecil Spadafora Invitational hosted by IUP. Clarion finished 15th overall with a two-day team score of 649, after carding a round of 326 on Tuesday.

Conditions at Indiana Country Club were once again cold and blustery, but that did not deter two of the Golden Eagle golfers from cutting strokes off their previous round score. Hayden Siegel made the biggest jump, slicing off five strokes to shoot a team-best 79 on Tuesday. Joey Vitali shot two strokes better in his second round than in his first, carding an 80 to rank second on the team for the day.

Will Meyer finished the two-round tournament as Clarion's top placer, shooting a 77-84-161 to tie for 58th in the field. Ryan Robinson posted a sore of 165 for the weekend, including an 83 on Tuesday, while Hunter Woodward shot an 86 on Tuesday for a two-day score of 168. Creighton Carter went 83-84-167 competing as an individual.
