SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle track & field team kicked things off at the Westminster College Invitational on Friday, with Clarion's Madison Foringer opening the weekend in the Hammer Throw.
 
Competition on Friday was held away from Westminster, at Slippery Rock's Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Foringer finished 15^th in the field in the Hammer Throw, tossing the implement 31.07m.
 
Action will resume on Saturday morning on Westminster's campus. Events will begin at 10 a.m.
