LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- Competing in a crowded field of 37 teams, the Golden Eagle cross country team acquitted themselves well at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday. Clarion placed 20
th in the field in the 6K Crimson Race, braving heavy rain throughout the entire morning.

It was another standout performance for senior
Mackenzie Carver, who placed 20th overall in the field of 286. She completed the 6K course in a time of 21:50.4 to pace her Golden Eagle teammates. The next Golden Eagle to cross the line was
Allison Farson, who clocked in with a time of 23:24.4 to place 101
st in the giant field. Freshman
Cheyenne Mehl was just 12 seconds and 15 spots behind her, placing 116
th with a time fo 23:36.3.

Paige Brewer was fourth on the team with a time of 24:38.8, while junior
Gabby Kutchma rounded out Clarion's top-five with a time of 25:18.4. Filling the displacement spots were
Caleigh Aigler and
Emmy Davis, with the former finishing in a time of 25:26.5 and the latter in 25:57.9.

The Golden Eagles also had a pair of competitors in the 6K White Race held early in the afternoon.
Autumn Pettinato finished in a time of 26:03.7, while
Charlee Leach finished in 33:15.9.
