Ohio— The Golden Eagles finished the West Liberty Invitational on an overcast day in Ohio. The competing men concluded the final round with a score of 321 placing them seventh among teams.
In round three,
Will Meyer accumulated the lowest score on the day for the Golden Eagles with a 78. Meyer was able to birdie on two holes, three and 15. Meyer found his stroke on the back nine finishing with par or better on six of the holes. Meyer on the tournament finished with an individual score of 233, placing him tied for 32
nd. Freshman
Brennan Karalfa completed his tournament with a round three score of 79. On the front nine, Karalfa had six holes finishing with a par or better, which included a birdie on hole number four. In total, he finished with two birdies, holes four and 11 and nine pars on the day. Brennan and
Ryan Robinson both finished the day with an individual score of 232, placing them both 28
th at the invitational. The Golden Eagles finished with the lowest score out of all teams on hole one, where everyone finished with par or better, highlighted by
Will Meyer's birdie.
The next time men's golf will return to the course will be Friday, October sixth when they head to the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational at Lake View Country Club in North East, Pa.
