BELLE VERNON, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle men's golf team wrapped their first tournament of the 2023-24 season on Monday, finishing 12
th overall at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by California (Pa.). Clarion shot their best team score of the weekend in the final round, carding a 303 to finish with a three-round score of 923 (315-303-303).

Ryan Robinson carved off three strokes from his second round to post the best round of any Golden Eagle golfer this weekend, shooting a 71 that was tied for the third-best round in the field of 106. Robinson was one of only six golfers to shoot under par in the final round at Cedarbrook Golf Club. Robinson finished tied for 15
th in the field overall with a three-round score of 224 (79-74-71).

Just behind Robinson on Monday was
Hayden Siegel, who had his best round of the weekend with a score of 76 to tie for 33
rd in the final round. That put him in 63
rd overall with a three-round score of 235 (82-77-76).
Will Meyer continued an uncanny pattern in his third round, shooting an identical score of 77 for the third straight 18-hole round.
Chase Smith shot an 83 on Monday to finish fourth on the team for the weekend with a score of 237 (77-77-83).
Brennan Karalfa shot a 78 as an individual on Monday, while
Creighton Carter was just one stroke behind him at 79.
