LEBANON, Pa. --- The Clarion men's golf team kicked off the first of three rounds at the 2024 PSAC Championship on Friday, shooting a team score of 340 over the course of the initial 18 holes. The Golden Eagles check in at ninth in the field after the first day of action.

Freshman
Devon Lauer led the way for the Golden Eagles, coming in at 35
th in the field with a score of 83 in the opening round. He logged a pair of birdies on the back nine, coming in one-under on the par-five 13
th hole and the par-three 17
th hole. That helped him to a 38 on the back nine, marking a seven-stroke difference from the front.

JP Tusai and Bradley Kugler both tied for 38
th in the field with identical scores of 85. Tusai made a birdie on the par-five 16
th hole.
Teagan Gray rounded out the top-four scoring for the Golden Eagles, shooting an 87 over 18 holes. He made birdie twice on the front nine, shooting a four on the par-five third hole and a three on the par-four ninth.

Brennan Karalfa was fifth on the team, shooting a 91 that included a pair of birdies.
