NORTH EAST, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's golf team played their final competition before the 2024 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship on Saturday, placing fourth in the field at the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational. Clarion posted back-to-back round scores of 320 at Lake View Country Club.

Bradley Kugler posted a top-10 finish, tying for ninth in the field with a two-round score of 155. He started his day with an 80 in the opening round, including an impressive eagle on the par-five 13
th hole. The helped him to a 38 on the back nine in the first round. He was consistently strong in the second round, going over par on just three of 18 holes and making birdie on the par-four ninth for a score of 75.

Just behind him for the day was
Teagan Gray. His first round was better than the second, with a 77 that included birdies back-to-back on the 12
th and 13
th holes. He made birdie on two holes in the second round as well but ultimately carding an 84.
JP Tusai was third on the team with a two-round score of 162, as he posted back-to-back rounds of 81, and
Devon Lauer rounded out the scoring by placing 18
th overall with a 163 (82-81).

Chase Smith competed as an individual and came in just behind Lauer, posting a 164 (81-83) to take 19
th.
Brennan Karalfa was the fifth on the Golden Eagles' team entry, shooting 165 (82-83).
