INDIANAPOLIS --- The NCAA revealed their third Division II Volleyball regional rankings release on Wednesday afternoon. The Golden Eagles rank fourth in the Atlantic Region on November 20, one spot below their third-place ranking from a week ago.
The regional rankings are used to determine which eight teams from each of the eight regions will make the NCAA Tournament. After a region's automatic qualifiers are determined – in the case of the Atlantic region, by way of winning one's conference tournament – the remaining five spots are filled in descending order by regional ranking. The eight teams are then seeded for the Regional tournament, consisting of the first three rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

With their elimination from the PSAC Volleyball tournament last night, the Golden Eagles will now wait until Monday's Selection Show to determine whether they received a bid to the Atlantic Regional championship, as well as their seed in that tournament. The show is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
