MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- For the second straight night the Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team showed well at the Mountaineer Diving Invitational, with four placers in the 3-Meter Dive on Thursday night.
 
Alexa Gonczi was the runner-up in the event on Thursday, taking second place with a score of 278.30. This came one night after she took third place in the 1-Meter Dive, making a pair of top-three finishes for the senior multiple-time All-American and one-time national champion. Fellow four-time All-American and two-time national champion Luna Castellanos took seventh overall in the field, scoring a 235.80 on the 3-meter board.
 
Katie Madigan won the consolation final, scoring 257.85 to pace the field in that grouping. Colleen Hudson was third in the consolation final with a score of 219.40.
 
Action will conclude tomorrow at the Mountaineer Diving Invitational.
