MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- The Golden Eagles men's and women's swimming & diving teams concluded their weekend at the Mountaineer Diving Invitational on Friday, with the Clarion men placing second and the women taking third in their respective Division I fields in the team event.

The format saw three divers for both the men and women compete on three different boards: one on the 1-meter springboard, another on the 3-meter springboard, and a third diving off the tower.

On the women's side,
Luna Castellanos posted the highest score of her three teammates, hitting an inward 2 ½ somersault tuck on the last dive of the event for a 48.60.
Alexa Gonczi posted a strong score on the 1-meter board, scoring 45.60 on a forward 2 ½ somersault tuck.
Colleen Hudson did the platform dives for the Golden Eagle women, scoring a 39.0 on the Back 1 ½ Somersault Half Twist Free on the 5-meter platform.

For the men,
Ethan Coronado had the highest score of the day, putting up a score of 49.95 on the 3-meter board.
Jack Beattie's best dive on the 1-meter board was a Forward 2 ½ Somersault Pike, which netted him a 44.20.
Zakary Kennedy did the platform dives for the Golden Eagles, scoring a 37.50 on a Back 2 ½ Somersault Tuck at five meters.
