CLARION, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's diving team took on Duquesne in an exhibition on Saturday afternoon, with Clarion's top two "teams" outpacing the Dukes' squads in Tippin Natatorium. The team of
Katie Madigan,
Luna Castellanos and
Colleen Hudson scored 271.35 in the six-dive team event, while the duo of
Alexa Gonczi and
Taelyn Thomas took second with a 257.11.

Alexa Gonczi led the way for the divers in the 1-Meter Dive, scoring a 242.7 in the event to pace the field.
Katie Madigan was third with a score of 231.0 and
Luna Castellanos was just behind her, scoring 227.48 in the 1-Meter Dive. Thomas scored a 209.76 while Hudson scored 199.73.

Gonczi took second in the 3-Meter Dive, scoring a 278.03. That was just a handful of points ahead of her teammates Castellanos and Madigan, who placed third (272.63) and fourth (270.68) respectively. Hudson was just behind that pack, placing sixth with a 237.15, while Thomas posted a score of 223.43.
