INDIANA, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle men's golf team kicked off their final scheduled regular season tournament of 2023-24 on Monday, opening competition at the Cecil Spadafora Invitational hosted by IUP. Clarion checked in at 15
th place after one day of action, shooting a team score of 314 at Indiana Country Club.

Will Meyer shot the lowest score of the day for the Golden Eagles, carding a round of 76. He went over par only three times for the entire round, conversely hitting par on 15 of his 18 holes. That score tied him for 28
th in the field.
Ryan Robinson was just two strokes behind him, tying for 51
st with a score of 78, while
Chase Smith recovered from a tough front nine to shoot par or better on eight of his last 10 holes for a score of 79.

Brennan Karalfa rounded out the top-four for the Golden Eagles, shooting an 81 to tie for 71
st. He carded a birdie on the front nine, scoring a three on the par-four ninth hole.
Hayden Siegel was fifth among Golden Eagles with an 84 but had five birdies to his name; two on par-fives, two on par-fours, and a two on the par-three 17
th hole to close out his day.
