MANHEIM, Pa. --- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Team Scholar All-America Top 30 rankings on Monday. Clarion was among the 30 teams ranked in the national release.
 
The Golden Eagles ranked 15^th on the list of Team GPAs on the Team Scholar All-America Top 30 list, one of five total Mid-American Conference (MAC) schools on the list. Clarion's GPA was listed as a 3.4349.
 
Leading the nation academically is Harvard, boasting an impressive GPA of 3.6134. Following closely behind is Cleveland State, securing the second position with a commendable GPA of 3.5706. Drexel takes third place with a GPA of 3.5456.

Mike Moyer, Executive Director of NWCA,  praised the achievements of these student-athletes, stating, "We are immensely proud to recognize the exceptional commitment demonstrated by these athletes, who showcase remarkable dedication both on and off the wrestling mat. Our heartfelt congratulations extend to all the teams for their outstanding accomplishments."
