GREENSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's golf team kicked off a three-round affair at the Hannastown Collegiate Golf Invitational on Monday, completing one round and nearly finishing another at Hannastown Country Club. Weather delays in the middle of the day impeded the men's golf teams from getting in all 36 scheduled holes on Monday. Clarion sits in 13
th place in the field with a team score of 313 through the one completed round.

Teams will wrap up the second round of action on Tuesday morning before proceeding to the third and final round of the tournament.

Three Golden Eagles tied for 59
th in the field with identical scores of 78 in the opening round.
Chase Smith birdied the par-four 16
th hole en route to his score of 78, while
Brad Kugler carded a pair of birdies, on the par-three second hole and the par-four fifth hole.
JP Tusai also carded two birdies in the opening round, back-to-back par-fours on the forth and fifth holes.

Rounding out the scoring in the opening round for the Golden Eagles was
Teagan Gray. He was just one stroke behind the trio of teammates, carding a 79.
Devon Lauer just missed out on the scoring himself, shooting an 82.
