NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's and women's swimming & diving teams authored an outstanding performance at the Rich Sentner Diving Invitational on Friday.

Taelyn Thomas hit two NCAA qualifying marks on the night, giving her two instances of qualifying marks and thus earning her a spot at the NCAA prequalification meet before the start of the Division II Championships. She won the 1-Meter Dive six-dive event with a scroe of 266.6, putting her just a few points ahead of teammate
Alexa Gonczi's second-place finish. Gonczi put up a score of 262.35.
Colleen Hudson placed third in the 1-Meter six-dive with a 258.8,
Luna Castellanos was at 232.45, and Anna Parker scored a 175.9.

Katie Madigan went on to win the 1-Meter Dive 11-dive event with a score of 422.5.

Thomas hit an additional qualifying mark in the 3-Meter Dive six-dive event, placing third with a score of 266.5. Gonczi won that event with a score of 283.5, while Hudson placed second with a 266.75. Castellanos rounded out the six-dive event with a score of 243.6 while Madigan on the 11-dive event with a mark of 450.7.

On the men's side,
Jack Beattie led the five Golden Eagles in the 1-Meter Dive six-dive event, scoring a team-best 299.5 for the win.
Corwin Lindeman placed second with a score of 285.85, followed by
Michael Flamm (277.35),
Zakary Kennedy (276.75) and
Ethan Coronado (263.05).

Kennedy paced the field in the 3-Meter Dive six-dive event, posting a score of 313.7. Beattie took second in the field with a mark of 298.5, and Coronado rounded out the top-three with a score of 277.85. Flamm placed fourth in the event with a 253.75 and Lindeman placed fifth with a 249.95.
