CLARION, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's and women's swimming & diving teams returned to action in Tippin Natatorium on Friday night, competing at the Dave Hrovat Diving Invitational.

On the women's side,
Alexa Gonczi won three of the four events, including both six-dive lists and the 3-Meter Dive 11-dive list. The senior diver and reigning Division II Women's Diver of the Year scored a 249.6 in the 1-Meter Dive six-dive list, edging out
Luna Castellanos, who took second with a score of 246.4. Castellanos went on to win the 11-dive list on the lower springboard, scoring 416.1 to pace the field.
Taelyn Thomas placed second in the 11-dive event with a score of 378.45, followed by
Katie Madigan (363.5).

In the second half of the night, Gonczi led the field in both the six-dive and 11-dive lists on the 3-Meter board. Gonczi posted a score of 285.4 through six dives and finished with a 483.5 through 11 dives. Castellanos was again second through six dives with a score of 272.4, while
Colleen Hudson took second through 11 dives with a mark of 431.85. Madigan was third with a 391.4.

Michael Flamm won three of the four boards on the men's side, posting the high score in both of the 3-Meter lists as well as the six-dive list on the 1-Meter board. The sophomore logged a score of 266.7 through six dives on the 3-Meter board and finished with a total of 447.05 through 11 dives as well.
Zakary Kennedy was the second-place finisher through 11 dives on 3-meter, scoring a 427.1, while
Ethan Coronado was third at 417.8.

Jack Beattie won the 11-dive list on the 1-Meter board, scoring a 386.65 after putting up a 234.85 through six dives. Flamm led the way through six dives with a score of 252.55.
