YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio --- The Golden Eagles track & field team returned to Youngstown State for the second time this season, competing on the first day of the Mid Major Invitational. Action will resume tomorrow in Youngstown.

Leah Perry took 12
th place in the Pentathlon on Friday night, showing well in the 60H and High Jump in particular en route to a score of 2715. She placed fourth in the 60H with a time of 9:52, just .06 seconds off her PR of 9.46 at last year's PSAC Indoor Championships. She had another top-10 finish in the High Jump, placing ninth in the field by clearing the bar at 1.50m.

After that Perry recorded a mark of 8.20m in the Shot Put and 4.59m in the Long Jump, with both representing 15
th-place finishes in the field. She closed it out in the 800m, crossing the line in 2:53.62.

Delaney Yost competed in the open Long Jump on Friday afternoon, taking 34
th with a mark of 4.45m.
