FAIRVIEW, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles men's golf team played 18 holes to kick off the Howard "Bud" Elwell Invitational on Sunday, finding themselves in fourth place in the field after one round. Clarion shot a team round of 325.

Devon Lauer paced his team and had one of the best round of the day for any golfer, placing fourth in the field with a score of 75. He went over par on just three total holes on the day, and added a birdie down the stretch of his round. He shot a three on the par four 10
th hole and closed out with three straight pars.

JP Tusai and
Kameron Kerle both tied for 15
th in the field with scores of 82. Tusai made back-to-back birdies on the front nine of the course, shooting a four on the third hole and a three on the fourth.
Preston Stoner rounded out the scoring for Clarion with an 86, including a birdie on the par four fourth hole.
Brady Houser shot a 90, while
Keith Hamilton posted a 96.
