Box Score GREENSBURG, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles tennis team went on the road against Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday afternoon, losing in a 6-1 decision to the Bobcats at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
 
Abby Rodgers earned her second win of the season on Sunday, taking a three-set victory over Jessica Garcia in the No. 5 singles match. After falling behind with a 7-5 set loss to start the match, Rodgers beat Garcia 6-3 in the second set and then opened up a 10-4 lead in the third set tiebreaker, sealing the win.
 
Very nearly winning her own three-set singles match was Taelyn Thomas. She rallied from a one-set deficit to win the second set 6-4 against Sophie Lepore, but Lepore won the No. 4 singles match after a 10-4 score in the third set tiebreaker.
 
The Bobcats won both doubles matches contested on Sunday to take the first point of the day, and then went on to win four of the five singles matches that were held. Moder topped Lion 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles match in what was, other than the Nos. 4 and 5 singles matches, the most competitive match of the day.
