EDINBORO, Pa. --- The Golden Eagle cross country team will compete against their conference rivals in Edinboro on Saturday morning, when they race at the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship.
 
The women's 6K race is slated to start at 10 a.m.
 
The most consistent performer among the Golden Eagles this season has been Abigail Butera, who rank a 6K PR at the Paul Short Run on Oct. 3. The sophomore crossed the line in a time of 22:34.7 in that race, putting her fifth in the field as the Golden Eagles won the Green race. Freshman Raechel Braun also posted a top-10 finish in that race, taking ninth overall with a time of 22:53.2.
 
The Golden Eagles' most veteran runners at this year's conference championship will be Emmy Davis and Caleigh Aigler, with the latter the team's lone senior. Davis was third on the team at the Paul Short Run, running the 6K in 23:59.2. For Aigler, it will be the final PSAC Championship race of her career.
