The opening half featured an even contest, as both teams battled for possession and created limited scoring chances. Clarion's Nathalie Twigg nearly opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a low shot to the bottom left corner, but Vulcans goalkeeper Autumn Bishop made the save. Despite consistent pressure, the match remained scoreless at the break.

The Golden Eagles continued to control possession, generating additional attempts from DiMauro and Taracatac while maintaining strong defensive organization.

Goalkeeper Sage Sherk anchored the back line with three saves to secure the shutout. DiMauro remained active offensively, leading the team with three shots and one on target. Twigg added another on-frame attempt, while Taracatac contributed consistent pressure throughout the match.
