INDIANA, Pa. --- The Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team won a close PSAC dual on Saturday afternoon, beating IUP 120-103 at Pidgeon Natatorium.Â

Clarion swimmers won a total of three events on Saturday afternoon, including two individual events and the final relay of the day.
Joslyn Jurski factored into all three wins, touching the wall first in both the 200 Free and the 500 Free and swimming the third leg in the 200 Free Relay. The Golden Eagles swept the top spots in all the diving events, including the top seven spots in the 3-meter Dive and the top five spots in the 1-meter Dive.

In the 200 Free, the Golden Eagles had the top three finishers, representing a huge chunk of points in the final tally. Jurski was the first to complete the race, finishing in a time of 1:56.91, with teammate
Elli Knausz coming in at 1:57.90.
Amanda Fetsko rounded out the trio with a third place finish, touching the wall in 1:58.74.

Jurski struck for her second win of the day in the 500 Free. She won the long distance event with a time of 5:13.19, putting her more than a second head of the Crimson Hawks' Benedetta Bellini.

The third win of the day for the Golden Eagles came in the 200 Free Relay, edging out the Crimson Hawks with a time of 1:38.61 to take the race by more than a second. Fetsko and Jurski swam nearly identical splits in their legs of the race, with Fetsko finishing in 24.69 and Jurski in 24.65, but
Madelynn McTeer led the way with a time of 24.02. IUP led after two legs of the relay but Jurski and McTeer pulled away for the win.

Crimson Hawks won the remaining seven events in the pool, including the 200 Medley Relay to start the day. Clarion did take three of the top four spots in the 100 Free, with Fetsko (53.77), Raely Fajohn (54.66) and
Erika Zimmerman (54.99) finishing second through fourth.
The diving events proved to be a fruitful way to make up the difference, though, with the Golden Eagles exploding for the the top honors on the boards.
Luna Castellanos (249.00),
Colleen Hudson (245.03) and
Taelyn Thomas (239.93) took the top three spots on the 1-meter Board, while Castellanos (310.80) also won on the 3-meter board.
Katie Madigan was second with a 259.13, while Hudson placed third at 257.03.
