Zoe Guice earned the PSAC West Athlete of the Week honors after she led the Golden Eagles to a pair of wins in their season-opening tipoff tournament at home, as Clarion beat Livingstone 96-68 and Bluefield State 66-63 at Tippin Gymnasium on Friday and Saturday.

The sophomore point guard averaged 19.0 points per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field. She also racked up eight assists and 11 steals in the wins over the Blue Bears and the Big Blue. In the win over Livingstone on Friday she scored 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting, and also recorded six steals, five assists and four rebounds in just 21:29 of playing time. In the much tighter game against Bluefield State she had 20 points and five steals, in a game where the Golden Eagles rallied from an eight-point fourth quarter deficit.
