2025 volleyball academic all district selections

Volleyball Lands Four on Academic All-District Team

CLARION, Pa. --- The College Sports Communicators announced their 2025 Academic All-District volleyball team on Tuesday afternoon. Four members of the Golden Eagles volleyball team – Haley Fledderjohann, Lauren Fjerstad, Finley Kearney and Raegan Stader – earned spots on this year's team.
                      
In addition, Fledderjohann will move ahead to the Academic All-America ballot. Selected by vote by national membership of College Sports Communicators, the Academic All-American team will be announced on January 13.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or older academically and in terms of their eligibility, must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better, and must have played in either 90 percent of their team's competitions or started 66 percent of their team's competitions.
 
Fledderjohann (3.98 – Sport Management) earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors after the best season of her career in 2025, where she was also a unanimous all-region selection at libero and the 2025 PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Year.
 
Fjerstad (3.92 – Nursing) was one of only two Golden Eagles to appear in all 28 matches for Clarion in 2025, making 15 starts. She tied for the team lead with 37 service aces and was second on the team with an average of 2.62 digs per set. She also led in total serve receptions with 549.
 
Kearney (3.98 – Biology) was the other Golden Eagle to play every match this season and was the only player to start all 28 matches. She averaged 1.61 kills and led the team in blocks with 96 total on the season.
 
Stader (4.00 – Nursing) showed well in her second season, ranking second on the team in kills with an average of 2.69 per set, while also leading the team with a total of 288.5 points.
