Jurski Hits B Cut on Second Day at Zippy Invite

AKRON, Ohio --- Joslyn Jurski hit NCAA B cuts in the prelims and the finals of the 500 Free, highlighting the Golden Eagles women's swimming & diving team's second day at the Zippy Invite hosted by Akron.

Jurski was the top performer for the women's team on Friday. Competing in the B final of the 500 Free, Jurski swam a 5:03.47 to take 12th place overall. That was slightly better than her morning prelim time of 5:04.73 and good enough to crack the B standard of 5:03.89. Jurski was an NCAA qualifier in the event in 2025.

The Golden Eagles had a strong presence in the D Final of the same event, with Sydney Harper (26th), Amelia Romano (27th), Lily Linscheid (28th), and Addi Busch (29th) all scoring points.

In the 400 Medley Relay, the team of Zoey Beck, Elli Knausz, Gina DiNapoli, and Amanda Fetsko combined for a time of 3:52.22, good for a 12th place finish. Knausz also added points individually in the 200 IM, finishing 24th with a time of 2:07.08.

In the 50 Free, Erika Zimmerman tied for 22nd place with a time of 24.08. Madelynn McTeer (27th) and Raely Fajohn (29th) also contributed to the team score in the D Final.
