ALLIANCE, Ohio --- The Golden Eagles women's track & field team wrapped up the indoor regular season on Friday evening, competing at the Mount Union Last Chance at Peterson Fieldhouse.

The top finish of the evening for the Golden Eagles came courtesy of
Abby Stitzer, who won an atypical event in the 1000m. The freshman mid-distance runner paced the field with a time of 3:05.11, edging out second-place Meghan Schwartz of the Purple Raiders by less than a second. The other member of the distance squad to place highly on Friday was
Abigail Butera, who took second place in the field with a time of 19:07.05. That put her less than three seconds behind first place finisher Audra Fedor of Pitt-Johnstown.

In the field,
Leah Perry took seventh place in a crowded field in the High Jump. The senior multi cleared the bar at a height of 1.47m, tying for seventh place with Malone's Lexi Tucci. She also placed 15
th in the Long Jump with a distance of 4.75m.
Delaney Yost posted another top-10 finish in the jump events, placing ninth in the Triple Jump with a mark of 9.91m, and the freshman also notched a mark of 4.54m in the Long Jump.

Rounding out the top-10 performances in the field were the throwing events.
Maddison Ho placed eighth in the Shot Put with a mark of 11.77m, while
Madison Foringer took 10
th place in the Weight Throw, tossing the implement 13.03m. Just missing out on a top-10 finish was
Emily Pleslusky, who took 14
th in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.12m.

In the sprint events,
Raegan Stader recorded one top-10 finish and came within a hair's breadth of another. The freshman placed 10
th in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 27.69, and also took 11
th in the 60m with a time of 8.29. Her time in the 200m represented a season-best mark.
Hannah Redwood took 13
th in the 200m with a time of 28.30.
Ciara DiMauro placed eighth overall in the 400m with a time of 1:04.65, while
Caleigh Aigler (1:09.81) and
Breonna Buck (1:11.16) were in 11
th and 12
th place respectively.

Hope Bundash showed well in the Mile, coming up just short of a PR and placing ninth with a time of 5:43.66.
Emmy Davis was just two spots behind her, taking 11
th with a PR of 5:49.46.
